“We are passionately committed to providing each individual the opportunity to learn the art of dance in a positive, structured and inspiring environment.”

COVID-19 UPDATE STUDENTS

At The Studio School of Dance, health and safety is our top priority. As COVID-19 continues to spread and affect many parts of the US, we have been monitoring the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Effective March 30, 2020, we will be implementing a new way to teach our students while under recommended quarantine. We will be opening our digital doors and be providing ALL CLASSES with an online dance experience to keep your dancer moving, learning, and interacting with us! We are working out the details and will let you know as soon as possible. This method of teaching will continue until the mandates are lifted and we can resume classes in person. With that said, there will be no classes March 23rd – 28th due to the 14 day isolation period. In order to make-up for next week’s classes, we will be finding time in May for these make-up times.

We are planning on the recital as if it were happening in hopes that the mandates and recommendations will be lifted and we can go back to our regular class schedule. Depending on how the situation unfolds, we may have to push the recital back. We will make that decision in May.

We are entering times of uncertainty and can be distressing for your dancers. We believe that The Studio School of Dance can continue to be a place for your dancer to channel their energy into positivity. Thank you for your continued support of our small business and our mission to offer quality dance instruction to our community!

Like us on Facebook and Instagram as we will be posting fun challenges for your dancers to take part in!

Welcome to The Studio School of Dance!

Movement and dance are wonderful ways for children to express themselves. At The Studio School of Dance we encourage this exploration in a safe and caring environment. We believe that children have the right to learn creative movement through choreography and dancewear that are appropriate to their age and consistent with our goal of reinforcing a healthy sense of self in each child. We believe dance is an art that builds confidence through self-expression, not exploitation, and our teaching methods, costumes, and dance movements reflect this belief. Each and every child at The Studio brings a special gift and we celebrate all of them equally. A child will learn so much more than dance at The Studio. They will build character.
