About The Studio School of Dance

The Studio School of Dance was established in 1979 in downtown Olathe, Kansas by Kim Bowen Harbour. Eventually, she moved to her own building off of Ridgeview and Kansas City Road. The Studio continued for many years at this location before she was ready to retire and pass The Studio along to Megan Jensen Burdette, a former graduate of The Studio. Miss Megan ran the Studio for the next 9 years before deciding to pursue a different career path. In 2013, Miss Megan sold The Studio to Jennie Storm, also a former graduate of The Studio. Miss Jennie moved The Studio to its current location in 2014. In 2018, Miss Jennie decided to sell The Studio to Miss Diane and Miss Molly. Again, both sisters grew up in The Studio since the age of 3. They couldn’t be more thrilled to take on this adventure!
